Dear Paul,

There are some Victorians who are not being sensible.
They are having parties, not keeping to their homes,
and of course the virus is spreading. There are also
those who are anti-vaccination - who are not helping.
I'm still optimistic though that people will come to
their senses.

Hi Foxy,

The second jab more than doubles the protection of the first, allow 2 to 3 weeks after it to obtain maximum protection.

We had our first family cases in Sydney, Te Aroha's son's brother-in-law, partner and child. In second week both parents admitted to hospital, after spending first week at home. She was only in for I think 3 days, but he was a bit sicker and about 5 days in hospital. Child wasn't too bad. back home and getting better.

Son, tells me of the about 450 bus drivers at his depot, only 6 refused the vaccination, they have been stood down for the time being. Most are now fully vaccinated, about 80 drivers are in home isolation due to an infection in the work place last week. Son was not deemed a close contact so far, they are still sorting it out.

Locking the national borders would help to stop Corona- but it's clear that certain state governments need to improve their port controls.

Victoria also has the worst performing economy in the country, and the highest unemployment. Andrews has dragged his state into chaos. The 'Garden State' has become the 'No Hope' state.

Wake up ttbn, the latest outbreak of Gladys virus in Victoria, as elsewhere, is all down to incomperdent virus management by the Berejiklian government and the shambolic vaccine roll-out by the Morrison government. Have you forgotten the fiasco of "Mr Limo Driver", now with hundreds dead, and thousands infected, not one head has rolled including the NSW Health Minister Hazzard or Premier Berejiklian.
