Where to for Christian Porter?

Well for now it's the back bench.
For how long? Who knows?

It seems that the Prime Minister does not like
sacking his people and sees nothing wrong in
this man's behaviour. Which is sad.

This man has suppressed all information about his
case, information which, according to his own
tearful denials, would presumably have exonerated
him, and yet he still remains in Parliament.

Media organizations, including News Corp and Nine
newspapers were blocked from publishing any of the
ABC's defence in its battle with Christian Porter.
Porter lodged a suppression order and only a small
part of the defence was ever made public. Porter
settled with the ABC (no damages paid) before any
of the case could be heard in the Federal Court.

Porter now claims he's accepted enormous sums of money
from people he doesn't know.

For a man with nothing to hide, Porter certainly goes
to great lengths to keep things hidden.

The only people with any say on Porter are the voters of Pearce, WA. At the last election he had a swing to him of 3.36%; but there was a swing of 5.2% away from Labor. I believe that Porter's margin is now only a touch over 1%. And, this is WA, remember. So, all but Pearce voters, unknot your knickers and leave it to the people of Pearce. It doesn't matter damn what you think.

You keep telling us that it doesn't matter a
damn what we think yet you consistently keep
coming back telling us what you think.
Does that mean - what you think doesn't matter
a damn?

Hi Foxy,

ttbn sees himself as a member of the "born to rule class", he's a would be if he could be, telling others what they say is unimportant, then pontificates on the subject himself. Tells others what they have put up for discussion is stupid, then puts up some stupid topic himself. The bloke should contact GY and demand he be made sole arbitrator for what's acceptable on this forum. Better still he can piss off and start his own forum.

Paul,

That's the closest that you've ever come to being funny. To be fair, it's just what you and your two mates and Nathan put up that I find "stupid". Very stupid. But what any of us think is not worth a hill of beans in real life. Sorry to disappoint you and Mother Russia, but nobody who matters cares what you think. When I have anything serious to say to politicians, I contact them directly. Have been doing so all my adult life.

Good ttbn, do you have any private numbers for MP's? They are handy if you want to talk to someone at times. Rather than those emails, read and replied to by a staffer more often than not.
