Why is only pfizer being given to the under 50s only?

I just don't get it.

Why can people in Europe get whatever vaccine they want.
They're given a choice. And we're told what we're getting.
No wonder people are nervous and believe all the hype
and misinformation out there.

Just of interest, took on my first case in Brisbane last week and this, just a bit of voluntary work. 65 year old homeless gent, sleeping rough, no food, no money, no phone, no family support, alcoholic. had been directing where he could get local help, feed, cloths, wash etc. Had agreement with him for a Monday meeting with people who could help, including permanent accommodation which is very hard to arrange. Things went pear shaped Thursday night, got his benefit, got on the piss, lost his wallet, phone numbers, cards, money everything. He could contact me by public phone, didn't front Mondays meeting. I hear yesterday the cops evicted him from where he was sleeping rough and he's skedaddled. Was going to arrange a vaxx for him, but can't help those who can't help themselves. I rang the charity super and told him the outcome.

The vaccine only provides protection for 6 months

AC, that may well be true can you provide evidence to support that claim. From the UK there is some report that effectiveness of vaccineene is reduced after 6 months and boosters become a possibility.

The Gladys virus is out of control in NSW, thanks to the shambolic lack of action from the Berejiklian government. Now there are 1,000 a day infections and no end in sight. Everyday at 11am out trots Gladys and her entourage of the useless, to scold the naught "children" for not doing the right thing, when we all know who is responsible for staring this outbreak in the first place.

Top marks to Palaszczuk for telling Morrison to stick it and committing to build a Toowoomba quarantine facility. Morrison has had 18 months and done nothing!
