You wouldn't complain if they were being deported to a better country would you?
They reason they're here is because this is the better country.
And they want Aussies to pay for their needs.

Hi Indy,

What about all those severely disabled old folks which cost the taxpayer a lot to look after for the rest of their lives with the payment of the extremely generous Aged Welfare? Once we get that Senior National Service up and running it will be win win all round, taxpayers will save money, billions, old folks will get much needed exercise, and there will be a lot less pot holes in our roads.

They already earned it.

A child with CP will cost taxpayers $ms over its life and drain resources that could be used to treat existing Aussies.

The parents are not citizens or residents as presently are not entitled to Medicare or disability benefits. There are many applicants for PR that are rejected because they have children that are disabled, should we let them all in?

Of course this is cruel, very cruel and unjust.

No problem if the state does not wish to pay the costs involved - in that case it simply doesn't need to make this family/child entitled to Medicare/NDIS. Let the parents decide for themselves whether to meet the expenses in Australia or back where they came from, or let charities help them with the expenses - why the state? I see so much good will around here!

Yuyutsu,

Thank you for your comments. I don't understand why a Government would want to deport people based on having a disability, when there are others that can assist in Australia and elsewhere in a digital age. I feel those who want to assist should be able to so without interference from the Government. A lot of people will come out and assist in circumstances like these and a Government should simply let the situation take its course.
