He also seems to be collapsing on climate change, and embracing the Leftist zero emissions target by 2050 mantra after a "warm" conversation with old Joe.

With no real opposition, we are heading for a virtual one party system, and a Lefty one at that.

BUT, it's a long way between here and October, and he could still flip on other issues which will make his chances slim at best.
I hope he stays the course and holds back that moronic old doddering fool's attempts to woo him and Australia, into the same swamp Biden resides in now.
It's becoming more obvious with more info being released about the truth on GW and CC, that it's not, as I have been saying, the fault of humans and/or fossil fuels, that is to blame or that it is alleged to be THE major contributor to this exaggerated event.
I think the govt's are much better informed than they let on, and they know the truth about GW and CC, and that's why they are not moving so quickly to waste money on a very good snow job/lie.
Yet from a public stand point, and because they are mostly un-informed or mis-informed, for political security, they have to be seen to be on board with this GW CC nonsense.

ttbn, the fact is Good King ScumO', is top of the pops these days, particularly with a few of us more conservative lefties. I was the first on the forum to question the mad cash splash by ScumO' and treasurer Friedbrain when the pandemic struck. A trillion dollar, no exaggeration, debt set up by this government makes anything Labor done in the past look like small beer. Although 'Jobkeeper' and other spending's, first proposed by Labor in the very early days and rejected by the Coalition, was then embraced by ScumO' wholeheartedly to the point where it looked like the government was trying to outdo itself in splashing the cash, I think even Labor was astounded by the governments level of spending. BTW another few billion for Aged Pensioners next month in the form of a $250 gift, shown to be a total waste.

I of course did agree that a high level of government spending in a true socialist way was necessary under the circumstances, but I did not agree that cash into the hands of Capitalist in the form of profits and bonuses was the way to go.
