Some people have short memories.

I recall when the last Federal Election campaign was in full swing and the dirt file on Latham was being fed to the journos by the Government, Keating told Latham he should use the "file" on Howard and his supposed association with Pru Goward.

This was probably in part, payback for Keating over the earlier Tony Staley smear over his piggery interests.

To his credit, Latham refused and the matter wasn't publicly raised.
