Cockies in my experience tend to be very practical and matter of fact people.

And to simulate the effects that CO2 has is a relatively simple matter as all you have to do is seal your green house, release CO2 progressively within a recycling

(not venting so as to waste and dissipate it)

ventilation system and watch the temperature sky rocket.

Of course, as previously said, if you can control the temperature and humidity via something like an air conditioning system, the potential for significant yield increases is huge.

Thus, to my way of thinking, it is a simple matter to bring the cockies around. Just prove it to them by way of simulation.

And I am not referring to the political variety who have their eyes fixed on the bucket of money which comes with fossil fuels.

It is also true to say that the weather systems have always had cyclic peaks and troughs, with the bell curve being broader at some times than other. But to that we have added additional levels of CO2 which adds additional variance to the system.

And how do we know about the history of CO2 levels over millennia? Well, they just deep drill the ice wherein it is trapped, date it and make observations and findings.

It's pretty straight forward actually. But in an environment of economic uncertainty where those who act would be immediately disadvantaged by those who don't, it perhaps ought not be so surprising that some advocate for "keeping the pedal to the metal" for as long as we can.

So many who appear to be deniers aren't deniers at all, but rather are just whipping up a frenzy of denial to maintain their economic position for as long as they can.

A foolish game of brinkmanship it is but one thing is for certain, if warming is real, more and more it will begin to bite down hard until eventually it will become so uncomfortable that the majority will act.

rEPRUSu, so am I too understand that you do not agree with the clarifications of late, and the proof and confirmation that, we are slowly coming around to the fact the earth MAY be warming.
But it seems that there is still reluctance to reject, (even after it has been demonstrated), that the CO2 is causing the warming, and not as is now more and more being confirmed that because of the warming, CO2 is being released from the oceans.
And that this warming is causing the subsequent release of CO2 from the ocean, and nothing to do with fossil fuels or the burning there-of.
Again, there is no dispute that burning fossil fuels emits, many things, CO and CO2 being just two of them, and by any standard of measurement or comparison, quite negligible.
So it would seem that the shoe is now clearly on the other foot.
Scientists are on the record, debunking the original lie, even proof of it by being on You Tube, so we can verify and scrutinise the person in question, unlike the fictitious 97% arseholes who are nameless and faceless with nothing to identify who they are.
Because of the lack of disclosure and the fact that no scientist has come forward to speak up in favour of this version of GW, BS because it's not true, compared to the tsunami of experts who are aggressively debunking it, because they know they are on a winner and backing the right horse.
If you seek verification of what I say, I have many articles and videos to confirm, if you feel the need and still do not believe me, even after you do your own research.
That is, IF you truly are interested in the uncomfortable truth and not the convenient lie!
