What a terrific result for Europe. They finally get to rid themselves of the whinging poms who basically haven't stopped sooking since they joined.
It is also a win for British businesses who felt EU pollution controls were too restrictive and for government ministers who repeatedly ignored pollution targets and had to be held accountable in the courts. http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2019/jan/14/uk-failed-to-enforce-eu-air-quality-standards-what-will-happen-after-brexit It should also mean a big win for the drive for Scottish independence. There is rank hypocrisy being displayed by Brexiteers who are resisting objecting to the Scots seeking to be free from the dictates of the British government. Hopefully they will get their freedom sooner than later. Ireland will also be interesting to watch. Posted by SteeleRedux, Sunday, 15 December 2019 10:53:10 AM

Yep SR the poms would be well rid of the bludging Scots. The poms should give them them a shove, & let them collapse along with the bureaucrat blighted EU.

Dear Hasbeen,
The UK was the only EU member who gets a substantial rebate on their calculated contribution. "The UK rebate (or UK correction) is a financial mechanism that reduces the United Kingdom's contribution to the EU budget in effect since 1985. It is a complex calculation which equates to a reduction of approximately 66% of the UK's net contribution – the amount paid by the UK into the EU budget less receipts from the EU budget." Wikipedia This has meant other countries like Germany, France and Denmark have had to make up the difference. It has been a constant sore point and having the UK constantly trying to throw its weight around without paying its proper dues has been corrosive. I think the EU will work more collegiality now the whingers are going Posted by SteeleRedux, Sunday, 15 December 2019 12:24:01 PM

See Labour [spell it differently there] took pure Socialist agenda in to the election
And a Muffet so far left of reality he was beaten before the first vote
But yes they want to leave the EU others will too
Germany must stop trying to own all of Europe via the EU
Refugees and Migration will kill the EU
