Watch out fellers, they are finally admitting, they are coming for your cars. I have not just been ranting, I have seen it coming.

People will have to get out of their cars if the UK is to meet its climate change targets, MPs say.

The Science and Technology Select Committee says technology alone cannot solve the problem of greenhouse gas emissions from transport.

It says the government cannot achieve sufficient emissions cuts by swapping existing vehicles for cleaner versions. In its report, the committee said: “In the long-term, widespread personal vehicle ownership does not appear to be compatible with significant decarbonisation.”

Of course this has nothing to do with climate, or CO2, it is simply to put us peasants back where we belong, servitude. This is what the useful idiots of the green/left are helping promote.

It is not going to happen, not here not ever
Well maybe in 200 years if we have public transport in every part of the country
Hong Kong? Japan? maybe one day, only if that public transport exists
Try living in an Australia without road transport without two cars in every bush home, fiddle sticks

What about all the electric cars that are going to save the world?

Anyway, governments, UK or other, have about as much chance of getting away with that idea as China has of becoming a democracy.

I am so glad that for at least most of my life people running things have been reasonably rational. God help my grandchildren who unless their is an uprising will live in a day where sodomy is promoted and 'normalised' virtue signalling gives you favour and promotion, the UN don't know the difference between a boy and girl and the elite swamp push their globalist agenda to deindustralise the West while lining their own pockets from the gw religion and other perverse and crooked schemes. The 'progressives' have stolen languauge and show themselves to be regressive in morality, science and every other way.

Just wait until they start on agriculture !
Cull 50% of your cattle, 50% of your sheep, cut your tractor use by
50%, employ local serfs to pull your plough back & forth across your paddocks!
Banning the airlines will get Alan Joyce supporting Alan Jones, ha ha !
How about we cull 50% of the greens ?

It is all out of date anyway if that info I circulated over the last
couple of weeks is correct. As it gets colder we will want to burn
more coal and oil. However I doubt if any on here will still be around
when it starts to get noticeably colder.
We are at the peak of the temperature now from 1990 to about 2040.
We won't reach the coldest till about 2300.

Yes Bazz, more sane scientists are suggesting that the anticipated low sun spot cycle will give us something akin to the little ice age. It doesn't have to get all that much colder to give big problems in the northern hemisphere for snow falls. A repeat of the last couple of years blizzards will wake many up.

This is the reason for the dramatic flurry of global warming idiocy we are seeing at the moment. The scammers know that if the Thames river ices over as it did during the Maunder minimum, even the useful idiots will notice, & are unlikely to accept the story that naughty CO2 is causing it all. They are desperate to get some laws in place, before the planet rejects their bull dust for them.

Did you see the report of Dutch farmers causing a 660 kilometer traffic jam with their tractors, when the ratbag element in their government proposed cutting all livestock farming by 50%.

The scammers are over reaching in desperation, & I see this causing even lefties to wake up to their little plot to destroy western civilisations living standards.

We certainly are living in interesting times.

Hasbeen, from our perspective we will see the present earth temperature
remain constant for most of this century, with a small fall towards
the end of the century. That is how I interpret it.
The cycle is I think from what I read is about 600 years.
It is now just 300 years from the Maunder minimum. It is not just the
sunspots but the sunspots on top of the suns cycle.
It is now about 1200 years since the Vikings settled in Greenland.
Also the magnitude of the sunspot peak also gets larger than other sunspot peaks.
From what I understand it is the coincidence of the
suns peak and the peak sunspot maximum that diverts the cosmic rays
and so reduces the cloud blanket cover and so warms the earth.
Even though the sunspot count is low this year it is reasonably high
earlier in the year and has not been zero for long periods as it was
in the maunder minimum.

Anyway it will be interesting to watch the argument once it starts.
Hey, perhaps we can start our own scam !

Hey Hasbeen,
They've always got to create a monster to control the masses.
In our time it's 'climate change'.

I'm the forum conspiracy nut,but how much of my stuff really is nutty?

I think 'New World Order' is a codeword for 'Messianic Age'.

You know when they say the world is going to end in 12 years?
I think it is, more or less; just not the way people think it will.

Democracy can be weaponsised if a 2 party system contains an immigrant platform.
Democracy is a business, the same as when playing one side off against the other for a better deal.

The play both sides against the middle and in the chaos keep shifting the goalposts with the narrative always 2 steps to the left.

Is this not what we see when they say they want to ban factory farming? or cars.
Where willl it end?
Where is the destination?

Where's the official '2030' sales brochure?

International Democracy vs National democracy
There's no such thing as democracy in a 2 party system where one of those parties is an immigrant platform.
When one party is an immigrant platform then what you have is international democracy being imposed on nation states.

I have just found a write up on this theory by Hendrik Svenmark which
has been published in Nature.
This article is at; https://tinyurl.com/yya8pzm5

Full journal reference
H. Svensmark, M.B. Enghoff, N. Shaviv and J. Svensmark, Increased
ionization supports growth of aerosols into cloud condensation nuclei,
Nature Communications DOI: 10.1038/s41467-017-02082-2

The paper is here https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-017-02082-2

From a quick look it appears that this paper published back in 2017
does not refer to the affect of sunspots.
It maybe that the Helsinki/Kobe work made that connection in more detail.
The correlation with history may well be strong enough to chnage
many minds.

Has anyone else noticed that only Belly of our lefties have posted on this thread, & he as a bushy is as against the concept as those of the right are. Does this mean the rest either,
1/ Knew about the plan, & approve.
2/ Are horrified at what this revelation will do to the decarbonisation plot.
3/ Hope if they say nothing no one will notice this planned attack on our liberty.
4/ Don't give a dam, as long as labor/democrats is in power.

Perhaps the pollies might notice rioting in Paris over fuel price hikes, farmers causing chaos in Holland over greenie ratbag attempts to change our food, & in Hong Kong over political restrictions.

I'm with Belly, it can't happen here, unless we permit it. Ozzies are slow to anger, & we just could leave it too late to become militant against the ratbag greenie attempts to subjugate us using the global warming scam as their weapon. Unlike the UK, Europe & much of the USA, this country has grown with the car. Our suburbs, towns & infrastructure have grown with the assumption people had access to personal transport with greater range than a bicycle.

Too many good people have completely fallen for the push, & particularly in cities may accept this restriction on our lifestyle, but in towns & outer suburbs it is just not possible. Apart from milk bread, ice cream & lollies at the local servo 3 kilometers away, I am over 20 kilometers from any serious shopping, & public transport 24 kilometers away. I have as much chance of riding a bike 6 kilometers as I have of flying to the moon, without a space ship. Hell I had to take a rest between the back door & the front gate with the wheely bin this morning.

Hasbeen, there is an article today in the Australian on the
Sustainable Development Goals that the UN etc are pushing which
is I think is what you were referring to.
It appears to go into everything and is intended tp pressure companies
to act according to the UN programs. Unfortunately you will need an
account to read it. I subscribed for the on line access only as I was
finding it hard ro read and was taking too much time.
I think they will try to make them mandatory in all countries.
I will look and see what I can find.

its a pity there was not enough funds to sustain the UN. What a positive for this planet that would be.

Ah ha, found the village idiots.

Come on fellas, out from behind the corn cob. I get that you feel the world has left you behind, that the young now look at you and decide you will never change, but you're harmless old coots so really not worth the effort anyway.

Your irrelevancy has to smart, but when a flock of you get together you are determined to gee each other on, which is kind of cute but a little pathetic to boot.

Have you heard the term 'circle jerk'? It is essentially exactly what you are participating in here.

You may well be set on mocking the fears the young have for their future, but it obviously doesn't matter as they are not listening.

Hey Bazz,

Was the article called 'UN Mandarins Call Shots Over Voters'?
http://www.theaustralian.com.au/inquirer/un-mandarins-call-shots-over-voters/news-story/359e44535666e064a442c2fb7151f010

Or was it this one (paywalled)

UN Calls for Brave New World Financial Order to Tackle Climate Change

Rankings mean 'promoting a race to the finish line'.

I keep telling you all, there's no real democracy.
They left and right are 2 wings of the same bird.
It's already all decided.

leads to articles about how the UN will "encourage" countries to
follow the agreements that Australia was dopey enough to sign.
There are 17 different areas of our economies in which we are expected\to toe the line.

Hey Bazz,
I found some UN articles, but not sure they were the same as you read.

I read some article earlier saying that the business and banking community would crack down on those who don't promote the climate change agenda but I can't remember where I read it, maybe one of those 'The Australian' articles, usually I'd pay attention as that's kind of stuff is important.

- So now we have bankers and multi-nationals imposing the global agenda.

I also saw an article during the week where a UK court ruled Christianity is not worthy of respect in a democratic society, so they're starting to circle the wagons on that front.
http://www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/2019/october/christian-doc-loses-job-as-uk-judge-rules-biblical-view-of-male-and-female-violates-human-dignity-nbsp

From that conversation article:
"This year’s SDG Index also includes a key environmental spillover indicator: carbon dioxide emissions embodied in fossil fuel exports, calculated using a three-year average of coal, gas and oil exports."

- So they're guilt-tripping exports now, geez the end must be near.

Whats the bigger picture here...

Planned economic collapse 2020
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-06-07/bernanke-says-u-s-economy-faces-wile-e-coyote-moment-in-2020

Why do they want us to undermine our economies if there's a potential financial collapse ahead?

Before Sustainable Development Goals, they were Millennial Development Goals, and before '2030' there was 'Agenda 21'.

- They all said that Agenda 21 was a conspiracy too, and here we are. -

Armchair, this is the link to the UN's start page on SDG.

http://tinyurl.com/yafaeg9p

It just seems to me that the activists are getting frantic.
They are going on like it will all collapse next week.
Are they worrying that the scientific plug is about to be pulled out
from under their whole substructure ?

The wx scientist that I mentioned earlier is Prof Pitman and he is
from a scientific body that I am not aware of but he insists that
drought is NOT caused by AGW or CO2.

I think the time is approaching when the whole AGW thing will fade away.
Nothing goes flatter than a panic when nothing happens.

Well what do you know.

SR finally responded, as usual with nothing but a nasty insulting attack on the messenger. Whats new, has he ever actually said anything with any meaning?

Obviously the left don't like mistakes like this, actually showing their hand, or like UN admissions that global warming has nothing to do with climate, & everything with their idea of equitable distribution or our wealth.

Despite all this, the useful idiots are still on the UN side, agreeing to be robbed blind, to save the planet. God help us.

Dear Hasbeen,

And here I was thinking my response had humour, just the right amount of derogatory putdown, and a general air of mockery.

When you whimper;

"SR finally responded, as usual with nothing but a nasty insulting attack on the messenger. Whats new, has he ever actually said anything with any meaning?"

I can only agree wholeheartedly, the messenger has never said anything with any meaning, but we wait in hope and anticipation. You can do it old cock. I'm sure of it.
