I agree with Belly for more than just the reasons he has mentioned. Public toilets are not monitored for obvious reasons and while women wandering into mens' urinals is embarrassing for men, a young girl finding herself in a deserted toilet with a male sexual predator has far more dire consequences.

I've no problem with unisex toilets in areas such as hospitals etc. These are monitored environments. However, can you imagine unisex facilities in Parks or other areas of public space, where every sex weirdo, is actually loitering inside one of the stalls while awaiting some hapless female victim to come in?

No way - it's difficult enough to police as it is, if this proposal is approved, it will be even a bigger headache for the law to apprehend these boofheads.
