yes Phillip sickening that they are into appealing to so called entitlements. The Greens are economically illiterate and socially perverted.

runner,

Julian Burnside Q.C. is running on the "Greens"ticket
against Josh Frydenberg in the safe Liberal seat
of Kooyong here in Melbourne. Mr Burnside is such
a capable and talented man. It's going to be a
great match to see who wins.

I like Paulines policy.

Immigrants on Centrelink will have to learn English within 18 months or they will lose their benefits under radical new plan.

Pauline Hanson's One Nation party has released a new policy requiring new arrivals to develop their language skills if they want to keep their Centrelink unemployment benefits.

Failing to learn English within 18 months would see an immigrant deprived of $550 a fortnight in Newstart payments.

One Nation's News South Wales leader Mark Latham said immigrants who failed to learn English after 18 months needed to lose their welfare benefits to tackle 'ethnic enclaves'.

'Unless you have an incentive, people will continue down the current path which is a disaster for Australia,' he told Daily Mail Australia on Friday.

Across Australia, 820,000 people spoke little or no English, the 2016 Census showed.

'It's a startling insight into how divided and segregated our society's been,' Mr Latham said.

Mr Latham said his area of outer Sydney had become more segregated.

'I've seen changes in western Sydney in the last 10 years that I never thought I'd see, and a lot of it is based around welfare dependency and non-English speaking ethnic enclaves,' he said.

'It's a product of low-skill migration, it's a product of certain ethnic groups that congregate in the ethnic enclaves.'

Mr Latham said 18 months was long enough to give someone to learn English.

'To get a job, it helps to speak English,' he said.

How many people living in this country actually
speak, read and write English well?
I would bet that many new arrivals would give the locals
a run for their money.

Julian Burnside Foxy, is a show pony, who has never ever in his life done anything good for the majority of the Australian people.

Meanwhile I don't think Mark Latham was speaking about people who speak English in what you may consider well, but the 820,000 who don't speak it well enough to be able to
1/Get a job,
2/ support themselves,
3/ get off the back of the hundreds of thousands of people who are having enough trouble supporting themselves, with out having a load of freeloaders on their back.

This thread has decided my criteria for the next election. I will vote for the party or individual supporting a large reduction in immigration, particularly useless refugees.

Pretty weak attempt at scaremongering I think.
mikk,
I think you should let horses do the thinking, they got a bigger head. You're obviously blind to what's going on.
Stop thinking & start looking ! You might understand then.
