Hey mhaze,
I read your linked articles, and I guess I have to agree with you.
It is probably the best summary I've read in regards to the last 2+ years.

It seems weird to me because I watched all the smaller parts of that investigation unfold day by day. To read both summaries in a few minutes reminds me of the long path it was seeing all that info come out.

- But there's heaps more he didn't mention.

One thing that should've been mentioned regards the media bias against Trump is that Obama provided the funding for it late in 2016.

I think he must've just finished reading Rosiak's newly released book when he wrote the article.

Also, Luke Rosiak may have been the one to cover the media story and get the credit, but he didn't do all the hard work.
George Webb was the one at the coalface driving the investigation forward day in and day out before Trump won the Presidency.

Here's George reviewing Luke Rosiak's book for errors.

Luke was way behind, riding on the back of George Webb's investigation.

Meanwhile...

A pretty good article. Y2K was a scam that came to an end because it could conclusively be shown to be wrong. But AGW and the ancillary renewable scams are different and will not come to an abrupt end. There's too much money involved. Even getting specific predictions and showing them to be wrong matters not at all. Twelve years ago we were told we had ten years to save the planet. That's obviously been shown to be wrong but they purveyors of the the one true faith merely move on and we are now told that we've got 12 years to save the planet. Hilariously many believe it.

Australia will continue down the path of closing fossil fuel plants and opening renewable plants...and costs to the consumer will continue to sky-rocket while jobs skedaddle. And the politicians and their like will continue to try to hide the cause and kick the solution down the road ie past the next election.

In that regard Snowy 2.0 has been the most successful power policy for decades. It won't do a damn bit of good in regards to supply or prices but it has mollified those who fret about their household costs since they've been convinced that our betters are doing something to resolve the cost problem. By the time it becomes obvious it was a feint, this and probably the next election will be in the rear-view mirror. It was designed to solve a political problem and its done it wonderfully well.

The article suggest we resolve the problem by getting rid of subsidies and letting the market work it out. But that won't happen. In an absolutely free market coal plants would pop-up all over but they'd be beset by lawfare and protest (see Adani) and thus no one will take the risk. At some point, when things become so dire that lies no longer work, the government will need to step in and build them themselves.

But don't expect to see that for at least a decade....or 12 years (grin).

I see Bernie Sanders is running for President against Trump in 2020 with an agenda to make America a Socialist economy. The fact is 25% of the young Americans support socialism. The same economy as Venusalia and all other failed economies.

FBI Official Admits To Infiltrating Trump Campaign - Just Don't Call It Spying

A top FBI official admitted to Congressional investigators last year that the agency had contacts within the Trump campaign as part of operation "Crossfire Hurricane," which sounds a lot like FBI "informant" Stefan Halper - a former Oxford University professor who was paid over $1 million by the Obama Department of Defense between 2012 and 2018, with nearly half of it surrounding the 2016 US election.

According to portions of transcripts published on Tuesday by the Epoch Times of a Aug. 31, 2018 deposition by Trisha Anderson, the FBI relied on sources who "already had campaign contacts" in order to surveil the Trump team.

"To my knowledge, the FBI did not place anybody within a campaign but, rather, relied upon its network of sources, some of whom already had campaign contacts, including the source that has been discussed in the media at some length beyond Christopher Steele," said Anderson - who was the #2 attorney at the FBI's Office of General Counsel, and had extensive involvement with the Trump counterintelligence investigation.

Halper is reportedly a longtime CIA and FBI informant, and has been involved in US politics at the highest levels for decades, becoming George H.W. Bush's National Director for Policy Development during his presidential campaign. After Bush lost to Reagan, Halper worked as Reagan's Deputy Assistant Secretary of State - where he served under three different Secretaries.

The 74-year-old spook was enlisted by the FBI to befriend and spy on three members of the Trump campaign during the 2016 US election.

Halper received a DoD contract from the Obama administration for $411,575 - made in two payments, and had a start date of September 26, 2016 - three days after a September 23 Yahoo! News article by Michael Isikoff about Trump aide Carter Page, which used information fed to Isikoff by "pissgate" dossier creator Christopher Steele. The FBI would use the Yahoo! article along with the unverified "pissgate" dossier as supporting evidence in an FISA warrant application for Page.
