A quick correction. Not sure about Channel seven back then, I might be confusing it with another interview about another vehicle I designed and displayed it at the Perth and Sydney Motor Shows.
Anyway that's another story.

Well done Altrav. Did you know the bloke in Brisbane that been running the Hydrogen Car since the 70's? I think he still lives a at Sandgate. I've been told the car is still running.

I recall Old Joh Bjelke-Petersen once paraded a shonk with his so called water powered car. On national TV this mate of Joh's filled the petrol tank of his miraculous car with ordinary tap water, then proceeded to start the engine. With that Joh declared this to be another Queensland miracle. When the gathered media throng demanded to have a look in the boot, just to check there was no gas bottle involved. with that Old Joh became very hostile, accusing the media folk of being Communists, and Southern sympathisers, promptly ending the demonstration!
ALTRAV, you haven't invented any water powered cars have you, for a bloke of your talents it should be a piece of cake.

"The massive limousine, which was built by California custom car guru Jay Ohrberg, measures in at a stunning 100 feet long and became certified as the longest car in the world by Guinness World Records in the mid '90s. It sports 26 wheels, a jacuzzi, diving board, king-sized water bed, and even a helicopter landing pad."

ALTRAV, give us some details on your //Designing/creating the 'longest car in the world' back around 1983.//

Thanks for the details ALTRAV. It sounds like you were the only one involved in this car, were there others?

Yep that's the one. I was there that day in front of Brisbane City Hall. The guy still drives it. The Oil Companies got involved & the Government issued a stop on the Patent, so no more could be built, but he is allowed to drive his car. I think he still lives in Sandgate.
