Just be thankful you don't live in Swindon, Is Mise. For a multitude of reasons.

//Horrifying!!//

Didn't you listen to Tom? The Magic Roundabout works really well... traffic flows nicely; relatively few prangs.

The problem isn't crap roundabouts, mate. It's crap drivers. Not much we can do about them until we let the machines take over.

Well Issy, with mandatory tough sentencing some of the hard heads on the forum want. I think the magistrate would impose the standard 5 years with hard labour for that first offence of yours, no ifs or buts about it. You done the crime you do the time. They tell me Long Bay is very nice this time of the year, enjoy.

Paul,

There is no ay of knowing who entered the roundabout first, so no way of apportioning blame, the foliage stops that, point is, why the gardens in the first place as blocking the view is clearly contrary to the intention of the law.

Now Issy, we can't have you blaming the foliage. There is nothing in the new mandatory sentencing laws which allows for mitigating circumstances due to foliage. But just to show you the new laws are fair and reasonable we will impose a sentence of a dose of 'Roundup' for those pesky plants. As for your 5 years with hard labour, all Judge Jeffreys had to say in legal jargon was "too bad, so sad".

Sorry you didn't get a chance to offer a defence, but under the new laws, defence is humbug, and no longer an option, besides its a waste of the courts time, I know you will agree. I'm sure you completely understand why you deserve 5 years, considering you have no defence. We have reserved a cell with a view for you at The Bay, its over looks the new gallows, but, well, its better than nothing!
