Foxy your not being shot has little to do with gun ownership by the general public. Very few people were ever shot by legal guns at any time.

The person who is most likely to shoot you, or any other innocent member of the public, is most unlikely to do it with a legal gun.

No amount of gun laws will ever effect the increasing number of illegal guns in the country. It is one of those, owned by a criminal, or maniac that just might get you.
