We are a rich country because our GDP per capita is in the top ten in the world. Our national debt is literally 0% of our credit limit, so it doesn't disqualify us from being rich.

No I didn't see the newspaper article concerning Visa fraud. It certainly go's on, and with impunity from heads of Mission apparently, as there's a very strict pecking order among DFAT staff at foreign missions, all depending on what type of Passport you're issued. There are quite a number of very good diplomatic officers who adroitly look after Australia's interests, with a few of them not so good. And given the enormous power they have, it's little wonder corrupt behaviour takes place.

The thing is mate she was a bloody tax payer. Or do you want her taxes just to go to looking after you? We all pay taxes to fund services, she's paid and she is entitled full stop. Anything less is exploitation and greed from you and your ilk.
