Normally, I wouldn't start a thread like this.
The topic of conspiracy theories invites plenty of ridicule and skepticism.

I started reading a short online book yesterday, and feel it's contents are so notable that it was worthy of sharing and further discussion.
I was able to get through half the books chapters in about an hour.

The book itself not only makes light of the fact that socialism is not a movement of the downtrodden, but a carefully crafted plan by the elite, one that puts all the wealth and control in their hands; but it goes into detail of how these things all came about.

I believe the information in this book is more important now than ever.
It explains the real reasoning behind the progressive and socialist ideology that we see all around us.

Not necessarily, Dan. The Uniting Church certainly. Some sections of the Anglican denomination; but, generally, religions are conservative. What is happening, though, is that some, like the above-mentioned, are big mouths, attracting attention. Their brand of Christianity has become so much like the rest of society as to be a sham.

Religion at its heart, has a care and concern for the society in which it operates. It is socially-centric. That is the concept of Socialism; all inclusive.

Socialism at heart, is a positive concept, but like so many other “isms”, it becomes harnessed by radical elements, to be driven in a particular direction, resulting in narrow achievements: Exactly like Democracy, which is now farcical.

I'm doing some research into the Jonestown Massacre in Guyana 1978.
It was a socialist movement driven by religious ethic, that ended in total tragedy, with the murder/suicide of nine hundred odd adherents, I'm sure you'd remember.

I'm currently wading through a huge volume on the subject, written by Jeff Guinn. “The road to Jonestown”.
The relevance of the Jonestown Massacre to the modern time, is its similarity to modern Western society, loss of moral direction.

Jones was a modernist socialist preacher, with an effective social outreach into black American slums, (on the one hand). But underneath was a drug dependent homosexual, with insatiable sexual appetite, extending into abuse of his female adherents.

Since we now have homosexuality preached from the secularist school pulpit, Jonestown will soon be the World.

It will be religion of one sort or another, picking up the pieces that are left of our trashed society. I think it will be Islam. It has the ability.

One of the main aims of Marxist/feminist is to destroy the natural family. By promoting and legislating immorality it makes them feel more at ease with their own choices and able to push their psuedo morals with pseudo science. Just look at those sprouting the man made gw nonsense and defending Islam.
