treated equally in the eyes of the law and in the eyes

superior or inferior. This is about granting same-sex
couples civil partnerships and contractual relationships
under the law of the land because every single Australian

eyes of the law and currently the gays are not. They are
not asking for churches to marry them. They are asking
to be able to have civil ceremonies. That's all.
