Perhaps applying those sound-devices that were used around diplomat's homes in Cuba would prove more effective than his phone.
But Toni, how is the fact that he happens to be a Tori relevant? All spammers should have their ears cut off! And if you wonder what to then do with his ears, here are some recipes: http://www.thyhandhathprovided.com/2009/12/hamans-ears.html http://toriavey.com/how-to/how-to-make-perfect-hamantaschen/ Posted by Yuyutsu, Friday, 29 September 2017 4:49:45 PM

Yuyutsu I disagree with cutting of the ears because they can still press the enter key and send more spam.
Now if you cut off the fingers it will be a lot harder to send spam. Also an added advantage is two ears won't feed a small mouse but ten fingers that's a meal. Posted by Philip S, Friday, 29 September 2017 6:51:01 PM

Why not just de-capitate?
Now where have I hard that before? Posted by Foxy, Friday, 29 September 2017 7:27:30 PM

That can be a little messy Foxy, besides it takes a rather large band aid to stem the bleeding.
ttbn is a big fan of Tori Cory, maybe he can make the calls. ring ring...ring ring, Answeer; "Yeah!" Cory; "Hiiiiiiiii there, its Cooooory here, got any kids who like boiled lollies, hummmmmmm!" Answer; "No!" Cory; "That's too bad... what I was calling about is..."Did you know the poofs want to rape your chickens?" Answer; "No" Cory; "Well they do.....sure you haven't got any kids there, who like boiled lollies?" Answer; "No. I'm sure!" Wife in the background; "Who's on the phone dear?" Answer; "Some nutter, looking for kids who like boiled lollies." Wife; "JUST hang up." CLONK Cory; "One down, only 999,999 to go." Posted by Paul1405, Saturday, 30 September 2017 5:07:52 AM

Well, I just received one of these calls and I am incensed. I was going to vote ‘no’, but now I will be voting ‘yes’. The ‘No’ campaign have lost me for good. This is a gross invasion of my privacy!
Nah, for some reason the outrage just isn’t as believable when the roles are reversed. I wonder what that might say? http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/programs/hack/same-sex-marriage-troll-enrages-yes-campaign-then-vanishes/8998282 Posted by AJ Philips, Saturday, 30 September 2017 7:49:38 AM

Tell the truth AJ , are you not concerned about what the poofs are going to do to the chickens? They legalised SSM in Bongostan and it decimated the chicken population. There is not a virginal chook left in the place. There was a positive, the sales of boiled lollies skyrocketed! Please, listen to Cory, he is a great man of wisdom, with a big phone bill to pay.

Sitting at the airport doodling with "T" 's IPad, off to Qld for big Maori gathering out west, coming from all over NSW , NZ etc.
I was going to vote "Maybe" until Cory rang and that done it, I am now voting "Possibly" The "Maybe" camp have lost me forever, I' m a definite "Possibly" now until the day I die! Posted by Paul1405, Saturday, 30 September 2017 8:39:48 AM

Paul1405,
If I were to be brutally honest with myself, then I would admit that I was always going to vote ‘yes’. I just needed a way of doing that without feeling like a complete arsehole. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Techniques_of_neutralization Nah, reversing the roles still doesn't work. Although, I think I may now be getting closer to why that is. Posted by AJ Philips, Saturday, 30 September 2017 8:44:27 AM

If I was to be brutally honest as well, I would
have to admit that seeing two men kissing or two women for that matter does make me feel uncomfortable. But then in all honesty so does a public display between heterosexuals - with a full-on pash - though probably not as much. Why is that? I guess it's years of having "appropriate" behaviour drummed into me. So I can understand the very strong feelings that are now coming out from many sectors of the community regarding same-sex marriage. Still, we have the opportunity to do what our conscience dictates and have our say in this survey. I just hope that I don't get any phone-calls from anybody trying to influence me. My reaction will depend on my mood at the time. It may not be "appropriate" behaviour. Posted by Foxy, Sunday, 1 October 2017 9:09:58 AM

cont'd ...
It was interesting to listen to "The Insiders," program this morning with Barrie Cassidy which pointed out that there is an indication that 72 per cent of voters are in favours of the "YES" vote and the "NO" campaigners with their aggressive advertising and tactics are turning many of the "NO" supporters against voting altogether. Even Mr Abbott admitted that in his family he's the only "outsider," in his family. What a ridiculous waste of finances for an obvious conclusion. Posted by Foxy, Sunday, 1 October 2017 9:34:40 AM

In Newtown Sydney today, where one could expect a "yes" vote in the high 90's, who's in the middle of the busy intersection at King St and Enmore Rd, non other than a hardy band of placard waving "No" protesters. few in number they were. A word from the wise to one, "If you're down here to drum up "no" votes, you're obviously in the wrong place. If you're down here to pick a fight, you're obviously in the right place. He gave me the free speech line, which may be so. The police moved quickly to tell the protesters that standing on the island in the middle of the busy road was a dangerous traffic hazard, a definite no no, they quickly moved on. Other than a few cat calls, and a couple of jeers, the large rather Bohemian crowd was nonplus with the whole thing and did nothing.

Well Newtown's clearly changed a lot... 15 years ago, those pricks would have got belted. Posted by Toni Lavis, Sunday, 8 October 2017 8:41:44 PM

Well, Toni, maybe the vote is 15 years too late. I'm not sure who the real pricks are in this world. If you front up in the middle of Pyongyang with a "I Hate Kim Jong-un' placard, exercising your democratic right, you might find the locals think you are the prick, and act accordingly. Should you do the same thing in the middle of Washington, it might be a different john dory. What do yo think?

"which in my view precludes him from being seen as an independent, just as a Right person could not be considered independent."
Strange view ttbn, independent only mean you are independent of a political party, have no affiliation. It does not mean your politics are central. could be a very conservative independent. I've seen the lot. Some, would like to head their own political party, but they have a problem drumming up the 500 supporters needed. Posted by Paul1405, Monday, 9 October 2017 9:22:02 AM

Anyway, Cory of Cory's Tories has today announced his plans to have a robot cold call people and explain to them why he's voting 'no'. Because nothing gets people on side like being cold called by a recorded voice in the middle of dinner.
So I thought perhaps some of you might like to return the favour: since Cory clearly loves the sound of his own voice so much he thinks everybody else wants to listen to a recording of it, why not give him a call and tell him how much you like answering calls from robots? I'm sure he'll be thrilled too hear from you - apparently he thinks people enjoy that sort of thing.
