Over the past few days, SA has again been scrabbling for power - with help from coal-powered Victoria -to get enough warmth to cope with the coldest start to Winter in 128 years.

The windmills don't like the cold, either, and have been producing diddly squat. No good in the heat and wind; no good in the cold. And still the die hards are defending them and their enormous cost.

All states are going to suffer power outages in the future as these idiots in power phase out coal fired power stations. We have nothing of any viable alternative to coal to cover base load power requirements.

There is nothing wrong with burning coal and there is absolutely nothing wrong with CO2 going into the atmosphere, according to all the eminent scientists who are not on the govt payroll and who are not involved in the man made any bloody thing scam that is currently running.

It is time we start forcing govts to stop playing around with our power, follow the US and pull out of the French extortion racket on global warming.

It's nothing to do with windmills not liking the cold. It just hasn't been very windy lately, as over the past few days the air pressure in SA's been quite high. This means there's not much cloud, so SA's also been cold, particularly at night. It's been quite sunny in the daytime, though. Had we invested properly in solar thermal, it would be quite productive at the moment. But we didn't so we're having to import power from Victoria. But there's no scrabbling involved; the electricity market's simply working as it was designed to.

Thanks Aidan, Victoria to the rescue again! Now Dan is going to pay for the largest wind farm ever off the Victorian coast, how can that fail?
Of course it will not fail the flim flam renewable crowd will walk away with literally millions of our dollars.
Here is an idea. Bundle up all these green debts and attach them to the pollies and Public Servants super. If they lose money well there will be no super for some people.
Yes put our money where their mouths are and make them pay.
