A caller with a disabled son rang Ray Hadley on 2GB to say that he recently applied to NDIS for reimbursement for equipment he purchased for his son. The money was transferred to his bank account, no questions asked – no receipts or any other proof required.

Looks like the bureaucrats have provided another well of taxpayer money for the crooks to rort. Rudd's pink bats fiasco will look like nothing compared with the Gillard NDIS operated by Turnbull.

One can only rort humans, but nobody can hide from God.
If you steal, you will have to pay dearly for it even if no man finds out.

Better this way, for had they assigned more bureaucrats (so called "public servants") to verify those claims, then this would have costed us even more.

it seemed very easy for Indigeneous leaders to rort millions from funding. Islamic schools here in Australia have already ripped off millions. Why shouldn't others have equal opportunity? You do however raise a real problem ttbn.

There are already several cases of rorting, for example where someone is a designated guardian, he can just submit phony costs, and pocket the money.

Non of this is new, but I expect that in a couple of years there will be shock and horror at the $bns wasted.
