Paul, while I too hate the amount that is wasted by pensioners, anyone who has in any war involving our nation deserves looking after in my view.

As for pensions, if I had my way those who have done well in their lives would be rewarded with a hefty pension, while the underachievers would get anti starvation money only. The system is arse about face.

Ismis, you cant keep changing the goal posts and make it more difficult to employ people, then expect business to invest and create jobs.

For every action there is a reaction, and the reaction here is loss of business confidence resulting in less jobs. But some of us get it, while others don't and never will because all they think of is wages and conditions and think little about where wages come from. Profits

Flatmates who share the rent, electricity etc are granted two single incomes.

I see no difference between flatmates living together and two individuals in a love
relationship living together. The costs are the same.

Yes I do have experience. My daughter has 4children, she worked full time, the whole time they were babies.
Even going back to work a couple of weeks after the birth
for a couple of them. Her husband never pulled his weight with providing money or looking after the children.
He only did as much as what it suited him to do.
He still has low paying jobs never taking up the option of becoming a teacher which
he has a university degree in.
He now has 4 children to his new partner. He's pushed to provide a roof over their heads so my daughter has just given up and does the lt herself with very little assistance from him.

I hear stories like that from women all the time. Or theres the other story where the man has a younger version in the wings and his wife was totally unaware until he left her with the kids.

He. has most of his weekends free and never answers his mobile phone if this lady needs him to take the kids.
Theres a whole lot of men out there flying incognito under the single father banner because they are free of the kids hanging off their shirt tail 24hours a day, so they cant be pointed out and badmouthed like single mothers are.
A lot of single mothers are single mothers because men dont pull their weight
with chlldraising.. The government has even had to run adds on Tv encouraging men
to act like fathers to their children.
The government wouldnt run adds like that if they hadnt picked up on the problem.

Well theyve talked about the looming crisis in aging demographics for nearly 30years
I know that because of the age I was when it became a talked about topic, by governments and superannuation funds.

All that time, billions of dollars, which represented a fair percentage of the now retired
pensioners taxes was handed out to 3rd world countries.
Now those 3rd world countries are still in poverty and with all that money dont seem to
be able to build pipelines to provide their people with clean drinkng water. still.

Now this, "save the world generation" is bitching about the money they dont have to look.after their aging parents and grandparents.
Well, you gave it all away in foreign aid, didnt you. Didnt put any in the kitty for a rainy day or a demographic time bomb, you knew was tickng. So suck it up.
