When Pauline was acquitted of all charges, the almost $1 million that she had paid to the government should have been repaid to her, with interest. It has not. She paid that money to the government under the threat of her home being sold by the government. The monies need to be repaid to her.
There is also an outstanding matter of her legal costs and compensation for her jailing on trumped-up charges.
What Pauline has to say about this is up to her but I would expect these matters be resolved before any discussions on who has or has not been responsible.
The current Premier is now the third Queensland Premier to have done nothing to resolve these issues. That speaks volumes in relation to responsibility.
