Sometimes I do despair that we seem to have an OLO full of Hansen-type people, and I get sick of trying to explain myself. I have come to believe now that if I said the sky was blue on a fine day, they would all say it was green!

The bottom line is that only 4% of the population voted for One Nation, so that is hardly the 'general population' or 'most people' or 'battlers' or 'salt of the earth' or whatever other word is used to describe the 'average Australian' that is supposed to agree with everything Hansen spits out.

I know that the bulk of Australian voters did not vote for her or the other fringe-dwelling parties up for election this time, so I have faith that common sense will continue to prevail in our great multicultural country .

Some constructive reading for you and Foxy. You may be surprised as to their extent and common sense.

If the current Queensland Premier is not scared of One Nation at the next state election she should be. Pauline has let slip that she intends to have candidates in every state seat. Remember that the current government cannot afford to lose one seat. The current opposition should now approach Pauline about preference swap. If nothing else, you have to admit that Pauline has dedication and tenacity.

I do hope my minor contributions here have helped Pauline. Of course I voted for ON candidates. We need more politicians like her.

her voice is not needed because to the rest of

to say. We don't see the world or this country

I am embarrassed for you that you would be so petty.

She may not have had the educational advantages of yourself but she
