It now appears that in some countries people are talking about immigration policies in relation to terrorism.

Looks like some places in Europe are now reconsidering their immigration policies in relation to crime rates, particularly rape and sexual harassment.

The Orlando shooting has the Yanks talking about muslim immigration.

Pity some of our journos don't ask some pointed questions of party leaders while there is an ideal opportunity, with the election coming up.

If it is correct that 15-25% of muslims have radical views regarding gays, females and infidels, would not curtailing the number of muslims allowed in lower the risk of a devastating attack?

surely, in this day and age the public could directly decide
on issues like immigration and gay marriage by a direct referendum online.
Microsoft know the IP number for every individual computer, ipad etc
The public has passwords for their own individual ip numbers, plus 2step security
with phone, providing website codes.

There are enough security layers there to provide quick computer generated and
computer counted referendum votes.

The politicians should have set up this true democracy by the people, not the
government by now, but they do not wish to hand over their power to the people.
The main reason being protection of their own lucrative incomes and a belief that
they are right and everyone else is wrong. These are human failings that always
seem to get in the way of good governance world wide.
