So here again we have the blundering fool knowing NOT what he says.

His proud announcement that there are now no illegal immigrant children in our detention centres has probably bought Turnbull a few bleeding heart votes. Not many as he has most of them. Bleeding hearts recognise a kindred spirit, & gravitate to each other, so he already has most of them.

However what he has done loud & clear, is announced to the people smugglers & illegals, that there is a new path to Oz for them. Just grab a kid, & you're in.

Turnbull will not want to put any new kids arriving into a detention centre, & lose his bleeding heart gloss, so he will have to let them, & their parents, [or custodians], lose in the community.

We all know it is almost impossible to get rid of any illegals, once actually lose in the community, so they are in free.

Bet the price of clapped out old fishing boats just skyrocketed in Indonesia. Get ready for hijinks on the high seas to our north, & a flood of illegals, but this time, with no one with the guts of Abbott to fix the hole in the dike.

How many blunders can this bloke make, before they get rid of him?

Settle down, Hasbeen....

You can rest assured that Dastardly Dutton has merely pulled a sleight of hand - and those menacing kiddies are all still safely incarcerated.

"The government has reclassified sections of detention centres as “community detention” in order to be able to claim that all children have been released from immigration detention"

"The immigration minister, Peter Dutton, announced on Sunday there were no children left in detention, but a source within his department told the Guardian the “release” was “more bureaucratic sleight of hand than emancipation”.

As an example, families with children in “held detention” in the “family compound” of Villawood detention centre were told by letter on Friday that their detention was now classified as “community detention”.

They have been “released” from detention without moving.

Restrictions on movement have been eased – children no longer require guards to escort them to school – but families remain behind a steel fence. The alarm on the fence has been disabled and a gate opened, but people need permission to stay elsewhere overnight, or have overnight visitors."

etc...

This will thrill you even more, Hasbeen,

"About 90 asylum seeker children in Australia to be returned to Nauru, Peter Dutton confirms"

"Immigration Minister Peter Dutton has confirmed dozens of children will be returned to Nauru, one day after announcing there were no children in mainland detention.

The Federal Government yesterday announced no asylum seeker children remained in Australian detention centres, with the final children being released from Darwin on Friday evening.

About 50 asylum seeker children remain on Nauru."

So never fear, Hasbeen, Slimy Dutton can always be relied upon to do the most sadistic thing.

Now you can go and do a little dance and crack a bottle of something celebratory...knowing all those tots and kiddies are being "taken care of".

Thanks Poirot, I agree with what Sarah Hanson-Young had to say on this so called release of children in mainland detention.

"Peter Dutton's sleight of hand and his willingness to use children as political pawns is deplorable," "While it's good to see the government being forced into releasing children from detention, it means nothing while the Minister plans to send them back to Nauru."
"Peter Dutton should allow these families and children to apply for visas in Australia, so that they can get on with rebuilding their lives in safety."

The Australian Greens also called on Minister Dutton to clarify the situation facing families and children who are still being held in the Villawood Detention Centre.

"On the very day he declares that all children are free, we find out that some are still in Villawood and have simply had the name of their detention facility changed," Senator Hanson-Young said.

"This sort of deception is deeply unfortunate but unsurprising from this deceptive Minister for Immigration."

Hasbeen, you will also be shocked to learn that they no longer pull detained childrens fingernails out as a form of punishment for bed wetting! Those bleeding heart liberals! Where will it end, with ice cream on Sundays for these terrible, terrible children.

Turnbull's stupidity will never end because, without the stupidity, he would not be himself. He is a very stupid and incompetent politician, put in the job and backed by other very stupid politicians. Abbott, for all his faults, would have won the coming election handsdown; now it is a neck and neck race, and the Coalition deserves to lose. The only way they can redeem themselves is to get rid Turnbull; which means another 3 years of Labor, then a return to Abbott or another leader who knows what the Coalition stands for.
