Malcolm Turnbull, as our new Prime Minister, you have the first opportunity as a leader, to give Australia and the world, an announcement and a pristine gift that Australia will no longer be involved in any activity that involves war or conflict.

Australian citizens will see this as pro-active leadership, and something so grand, that no other world leader has taken before and a gift a person cannot buy. It is priceless.

Lead the world and make this announcement on Christmas Day. After all that is what Christmas is all about.

Natham,
I recall another PM who spoke appeasement, his name was Chamberlan.

"peace in our time'

Don't you see that Muslims see compromise as weakness.

Malcolm will get around to peace when he has figured out a way of commodifying it to make an honest buck or few. Heh, heh, user pays.

Lets see now: water commodified, check; air commodified, check (well, Julia Galah'd did that one)..

Nathan, we as a nation need the protection of the US more than they need us simply because we are too poorer nation to defend ourselves should we come under attack so be careful what you wish for.

Like it or not, when the US says jump, we have no choice other than to say, how high.

No worry about Malcolm Turnbull, next election will be a win for the Labour Party and Mr Shortin will be the Prime Minister and this country will begin to grow again with a Labour government. Turnbull is a rich man, a very rich man he doesnt care about us, who are working hard but poor people. Turnbull is a very evil man with to much money, why is he a Prime minister with all the money he has? This is a man who must not be trusted.
