Business confidence is in the doldrums and declining, and today's judgment will do nothing to bolster that. No amount of excuses or blaming can fix the declines we have had in the last 12 months.
We need leadership and that can not happen with Abbott. His credibility is shot to pieces and can’t be trusted no matter what he says.
Unemployment is on the rise, and that further subdues business and consumer confidence.
We are in a gigantic mess, labor need to force an election now

“Merry Christmas Australia…Today Tony Abbott has bought back the copper network that John Howard sold last century. To keep it working he is going to have to spend billions of dollars over the next decade – and all Australia will get from it is a second-rate NBN.”
What happened to Hockeys debt crisis 12 months ago.

What we need is a senate reshuffle. If we could get rid of the lefty lot, who refuse to pass sensible bills for purely political reasons, we just might have a chance.

Only a chance though. If the Oz voters are so dumb they can't see what Shorten & co are up to, there is not much chance for us to get out of Labors hole.

I suppose it is to be expected. If the yanks are stupid enough to elect Obama twice, the end is nigh for all of us.

Instead of taking a leaf out of Wayne Swans book and SPENDING to create jobs and trade out of a downturn, these fools have decided to cut, cut, cut. We are going to end up like Greece and Spain and it will take years to get us out of this.

After 1 year in office and 1 year of blaming Labor for everything, this shows how inept they really are at running the country and what an absolute mess they have made of things. We did well during the global financial crisis and please notice that is the LNP's wonderful miners who are dragging down our economy. We now will have to suffer under a fools regime and the miners will just get back up again and make huge profits again.
Hockey is happy with jobs growth, and the figures are better than they would have been under labor, JOE HOCKEY says.
Great fiscal managers? Cut Slash Retrench is the only "policy" these clowns have, But that's understandable seeing the pair of morons Abbot put in charge of the Nations vital finances.
They destroyed 2 income streams to satisfy their greedy patrons, now they are setting about destroying services to their Paymasters,us. We can no longer claim these thugs are our employees, they sacked us and hijacked the country for themselves and their rich sponsors.
They have ceased blaming Labor for their incompetence and now blame their predecessors, which is more accurate, as it puts Costello in the equation. Another event is now blameworthy, the drop in price of exportable dirt, but, hey, even a blind drovers dog could see that coming, but not this nest of baboons

if we had half a brain Cory Bernandi would be put in charge of immigration. Scott Morison has done a great job in saving drownings and stopping illegal immigration. NOw we need someone with the guts to stop destructive immigration. Otherwise yesterdays tradegy will be more and more common and politicians will have to repeat the mantra of being surprised.

How can anything Abbott does be called sensible. He is far to radical to be sensible about anything.
At 3.3 Billion / month over budget, they need to show some leadership. Unemployment is in freefall, and they are talking about spending billions on dubious infrastructure works.
Are world conditions right to be creating unemployment, which will take years to claw back. Unemployment and lib govt; go hand in hand, never been any different. If you have a problem you don,t make the problem worse by creating unemployment. The less money in society the less tax receipts, so further problems arise with business viability.
The cycle has to be broken, not exacerbated, infrastructure spending comes with large delays, maybe in the years, is that too long to wait, how many will go bust waiting for moneys to filter down ,if at all.
The liberal way of thinking is this is the best way for them, the street person is just collateral damage
