if we had half a brain Cory Bernandi would be put in charge of immigration. Scott Morison has done a great job in saving drownings and stopping illegal immigration. At 3.3 Billion / month over budget, they need to show some leadership. Unemployment is in freefall, and they are talking about spending billions on dubious infrastructure works.
Are world conditions right to be creating unemployment, which will take years to claw back. Unemployment and lib govt; go hand in hand, never been any different. If you have a problem you don,t make the problem worse by creating unemployment. The less money in society the less tax receipts, so further problems arise with business viability.
The cycle has to be broken, not exacerbated, infrastructure spending comes with large delays, maybe in the years, is that too long to wait, how many will go bust waiting for moneys to filter down ,if at all.
