I know he is a bit elitist alright Poirot, but I like his sense of humour!
I hope he doesn't get shafted.

At least he has a reasonable personality, which is more than we can say for the likes of wooden Tones, steely-eyed Bishop, and Lock-kiddies-away-Morrison!

I hope the lot of them get shafted, including Labor and the Greens. They are all banker puppets who sold us out a long time ago.

According to Saturday, The Age, Dec. 6th 2014 -
MR Hockey has become a lightening rod for internal
dissatisfaction due to stalled budget measures
and a deteriorating deficit, with calls internally
for him to be replaced.

On the final day of Parliament as Mark Kenny, Chief
Political Correspondent of The Age points out -
Mr Hockey attempted to address party-room mutterings
arising from a series of political errors and what
some say is excessive control by the Prime Minister's
office.

The fractious mood according to Kenny follows a messy
final two weeks of the parliamentary year dominated
by confusions over the $7 GP co-payment - dubbed the
"barnacle debacle," controversies in the office of the
Minister for Defence, David Johnston, and new tensions
between Mr Abbott and his deputy leader and Foreign
Affairs Minister, Julie Bishop.

The relationship between the two top Liberals is now an
open question after Mr Abbott insisted on sending Trade
Minister Andrew Robb with her to a climate change
conference in Lima, Peru.

For his part, Mr Hockey confirmed the unrest in government
ranks by publicly pointing the finger at ministerial
colleagues angry about having to find savings in their
portfolios.

It does appear that the mood for change has gripped some
inside the Coalition who appear to be looking to Communications
Minister and former Liberal leader Malcom Turnbull to be
installed as treasurer.

"The jungle drums are beating," warned one longstanding
Liberal, who according to Kenny warned frustrations could
come to a head in the early months of 2015.

Could the atmosphere become as toxic as it was within
Labor under Prime Ministers Kevin Rudd and Julia Gillard?

Time will tell. In the meantime rumours abound and the
Coalition's popularity in opinion polls has taken a dive.
Which does not bode well for them.

With the defeat at the Victorian elections, and QLD on very shacky, disquiet has broken out in the liberal camp. Hockey is a scapegoat and must fall victim to the Abbott Credlin ragime.
Other liberal party members are just representatives of their electorates, with no say in politics.
They must find it hard explaining to their constituents their role in parliament, not to mention what they are trying to acheive for their electorate.
Abbott signals a reshuffle, for what no one but Abbott has any say. They wouldn't know what to say. Abbott and Credlin say it all behind closed doors.
What a shambles this govt; has turned out to be. It has got to be history making. Now the populous is starting to turn against the very lot they voted for just 12 months ago.
Their ambitions have been very poorly worked out at a time when we were hoping for stable and reliable govt;
We as a nation were sold on the ideals of the incoming govt, so what happened. The voters are owed an explanation of why this govt did not follow the schedual of promises and three word statements we were given just before we voted.

Abbott only had to do 4 things to be a winner for me.

Get rid of that disgusting red head. Done.

Stop the boats. Stopped.

Chuck out the carbon tax. Chucked.

Stop the climate, global warming, rort. Well under way.

We already huge winners from his election, anything else he can achieve, like reducing Labors huge left behind debt, with the idiots in the senate will be a nice bonus.

Obviously lefties hate anyone who can get sensible things done.
