"Keep your friends close but your enemies even closer." What's the bet that Turnbull gets Hockey's job so he works closer with Abbott and has less time to plot Abbott's downfall.

There are moves afoot to promote Turnbull to Treasurer, these days the Treasurer is in effect the governments number two, forget the position of Deputy PM, the cow cocky Truss has, or Liberal number two Julia Bishop. The Treasure is number two, putting Turnbull there would give him a chance to show what he's made of and could then challenge Tony Baloney late next year.
Julia Bishop always reminds me of a woman from a 1960's TV cooking show.
"Now ladies, beat the eggs vigorously, just the way hubby beats you, add the sugar and the milk. Hubby will enjoy these Delicious scones after a hard days work, and if he does not, well you do deserve a jolly good thrashing."

Arjay , that conspiracy might have merrit. Abbott might put himself on the back bench, that would have even more merrit. What do they need a leader for they havn't had one all year so far.
Abbott is weary of Bishop gaining a boyfriend, positioning herself, 25 times more popular than Abbott.
What the liberals need is a budget, and somone that can talk to other representatives of our parliament. Abbott is grosly inadequate at that sort of communication.
Bishop and Turnbull, that is a team that might just work. And get rid of the speaker, her bias is way out of kilter, very noticeable you could say. It's like an out of balance wheel.
Hockey is disalusioned and would be more use at home feeding his chooks.
Pyne is out of his depth, ans should not hold a front bench seat.

Of all the Liberals, I don't mind Hockey. He just did what he was told to do by Abbottcredlin.

They need to replace the bumbling leader who seems to act more like a dictator than a party leader these days.

I don't much care who replaces him....

Suse,

Funnily enough, it's Hockey who's likely to get the chop.

No sympathy from me, he's an elitist who practices sleight of hand like the rest of them....disingenuous to a tee - a consummate thespian in parliament - shouty - and about to be shown the door (it seems)
