Arjay, I had a conversation with a fellow worker about population growth becoming out of control. She was horrified when I said the solution one day will be some type of human cul.
I'm convinced it will happen one day. Posted by rehctub, Tuesday, 7 October 2014 7:36:33 AM

Okay, Arjay...before we become enmeshed in conspiracy theories, I've collected a couple of good articles on this Ebola outbreak.
They are worth reading. http://www.washingtonpost.com/sf/national/2014/10/04/how-ebola-sped-out-of-control/ "The virus easily outran the plodding response. The WHO, an arm of the United Nations, is responsible for coordinating international action in a crisis like this, but it has suffered budget cuts, has lost many of its brightest minds and was slow to sound a global alarm on Ebola. Not until Aug. 8, 4 1/2 months into the epidemic, did the organization declare a global emergency. Its Africa office, which oversees the region, initially did not welcome a robust role by the CDC in the response to the outbreak." This one is an interview with the man who discovered the virus. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/oct/04/ebola-zaire-peter-piot-outbreak?CMP=twt_gu "There is actually a well-established procedure for curtailing Ebola outbreaks: isolating those infected and closely monitoring those who had contact with them. How could a catastrophe such as the one we are now seeing even happen? I think it is what people call a perfect storm: when every individual circumstance is a bit worse than normal and they then combine to create a disaster. And with this epidemic there were many factors that were disadvantageous from the very beginning. Some of the countries involved were just emerging from terrible civil wars, many of their doctors had fled and their healthcare systems had collapsed. In all of Liberia, for example, there were only 51 doctors in 2010, and many of them have since died of Ebola." Many other factors contributed to this outbreak being so much worse than others. One of them is that man, as clever as he is, is no match for nature when it takes its gloves off. Posted by Poirot, Tuesday, 7 October 2014 8:02:20 AM

People in the US are rightfully furious that US citizens were taken from Liberia to be treated in the USA when treatments could have been done there. Now there are outbreaks in the USA.
I wonder how on the ball our authorities are, given that this strain mutates rapidly. It may already be airborne. Posted by Arjay, Tuesday, 7 October 2014 8:38:56 AM

I suggest you read the book "The Hot Zone". It explains how they still do not know how these viruses infect us. It also says the Marburg virus went pneumonic in an ape rearing house in Washington DC some years ago. The apes died and it did not affect the humans there.
Seems like there is nothing like crying wolf here Posted by JBowyer, Tuesday, 7 October 2014 10:00:42 AM

Arjay, you'll need to gather some actual genuine, admissable "evidence" for your conspiracy theory. Mere opinion doesn't cut it.

I have a business associate who is not into conspiracies. His wife contracted Lymes Disease in Sydney a few years ago from a tick. He had to send his wife to Germany to find a cure. The doctors there said that this was a weaponised form of Lymes that had escaped from a Lab. Lyssa Virus spread by bats is another problem here.
Given the statements from people like Maurice Strong the Ex-secretary of the UN that the world's pop must be reduced by 90% and the US has 3 patents on Ebola, what are the chances that this outbreak is intentional ?
