At this stage Green technology equipment is extremely polluting to manufacture but I suppose it won't be all that long before it comes down to the levels of conventional energy production.

Although they may not be able to directly pass on the tax, it still eats in to their cash flow. If it comes out of one pocket, they will take it from another to fill the void.

This then effects many other areas such as investment, expansion and staffing, all of which has a negative effect on jobs.

The tax was flawed from the start and has reaped billions out of our economy and made no noticeable difference to climate change as it doesn't matter where you burn fossil fuels because the earths climate is shared by all.
