Dear Is mise,

I read through the survey and am at a little bit of a loss to see why this is the “indeed the worst survey that I have ever seen.”

As long as they preface any published results with “Of the respondents to a survey on our website ...”. I would have a real issue if they were to claim something like “An independent survey has found...” but there is no evidence of that happening.

They certainly haven't try and pass themselves off as anything they are not, that trait tends to come from the right side of politics.

Take for instance the duplicitously named Australian Environment Foundation (AEF) who have produced articles on OLO.
http://www.onlineopinion.com.au/view.asp?article=14399&page=0

One of their latest articles is “Tasmania World Heritage Listing counter-productive”

Quote;
The Australian Environment Foundation today supported the federal government’s resolve to rescind the ill-advised World Heritage listing of Tasmanian forests which are part of the current ‘peace deal’ process.
“Australia must pull its weight in meeting local demand for forest products and not continue to outsource our consumer demand to countries with lesser environmental standards in timber harvesting” said AEF executive director Max Rheese.
End quote.

Or what about the formally called Forest Protection Society now known as Timber Communities Australia. Note the appropriation of the Green's symbol.

They also have been given space on OLO.
http://www.onlineopinion.com.au/view.asp?article=6382

Source watch describes them as “is a national front group funded by logging companies and the National Association of Forest Industries.”

This is true misrepresentation of the worst kind. Yet not a peep in protest from your side?

Jodelle,
You have not missed anything by not knowing much about the greens.

They have some very wacky policies, here is a few.

Do away with our armed forces and train civilians in passive resistance.

Everyone should get a government handout.

All drugs should be legal.

Lower the age to vote.

Lower the age of consent.

They still have these policies but now have changed the wording so they mean whatever you want. Cunning and deceitful I call it.

Paul,

Haebeen said, "If any ever doubted the immorality of greenie organisations, I suggest you take a look at a so called survey currently being put about by WWF."

Now I have never doubted but I Googled WWF and came up with the Canadian WWF survey and it stinks.

SteeleRedux,

"....Yet not a peep in protest from your side?"

Which is my side anyway?

I abhor liars and the Greens I particularly abhor as, in my humble opinion, they are not only liars but a fifth column within Australia.

Is Mise,

Of course you have the right to hold an opinion about the Canadian WWF survey, it "stinks" that is your opinion, I have no opinion on that Canadian survey as i have never laid eyes on it.
BUT, and this was my point the 3rd post on this thread was from you, posting; "Truly the worst survey that I've ever seen." a reply to the original Hasbeen post. Which was;
"If any ever doubted the immorality of greenie organisations, I suggest you take a look at a so called survey currently being put about by WWF. yuda, yuda, yuda.
At no point in his original post did Hasbeen refer to the WWF Canadian survey, in fact other than a vague reference to a so called current survey being conducted by the WWF (incidentally a google of 'WWF current survey' fail to cough up any such survey for me, current or otherwise.)
From the Haseen original post you could not possibly have known what survey Hasbeen was referring to, as none was named. Yet you chimed in with an uninformed "Truly the worst survey that I've ever seen." with out any qualification such as The Canadian WWF survey is the worst survey that I've ever seen. So I can only conclude you have an ill informed and distinct bias against WWF surveys in general.

Paul,

You have hit the holding device squarely on the driving area with the force applying implement.
