He had been found guilty and sentenced to six months, the Magistrate was disdainful of his actions and behavior, during *the Muslim Sydney riot*

Belly, if the bloke is on appeal of a 6 month sentence, should he not be out on bail until his appeal is determined? Otherwise he would do the 6 months and then on appeal could be "found to not have done the crime but still done the time." Plenty of time to lock him up for 6 months later, the jails not going to go away any time soon. If deemed to be a threat to society then put a few conditions on him, I'm sure the magistrate did, like reporting to police etc.

Why does our Holy Torah contain so many instances of deception? After being a student of the Chumash for many years, I am left with a feeling of misunderstanding.

Whenever I conclude a Parsha that illustrates deception performed by our Patriarchs, I cannot arrive at a positive explanation for its inclusion.

I feel that all..that these illuminations of deception do, is provide the Gentiles..with more ammunition to criticize the Jewish people.

Allah Almighty tells about the source of lying inside the brain of humans, fourteen hundred years ago. Allah tells us how He will deal with the liars, the lying sinful liars, in surah Al Alaq. (chpater 96).
