Very shabby. There shoul be some recognition at the very least of what Jayb went through and confirmation that what happened to him and his friend was wrong and no, they shouldn't be blamed themselves -as you appear intent to do. Why?

No victim of violence, verbal or physical, 'deserved' it, or was to blame for the trauma suffered. Know that there are people who care and that the people who care are always in an abundance that is far greater than the cruel persecutors, punishers and bigots on the other side.
While it remains true that partner violence and violence generally are genderised to exclude females as offenders and men as possible innocent victims too, the world is slowly turning to reveal the dark side and the negative stereotyping of men is being questioned. There is hope for men who are suffering from partner abuse. Gender politics cannot keep the lid on the obvious flaws in the ideology and wrongs forever.
