I can accept your attitude RM as long as you can put your hand on your heart and say you take absolutely nothing we parasites have to offer, such as hospitals, education, roads, defense, power transmission (in or out), welfare payments, etc, etc.

Instead of bunkering down, why not get politically involved and help forge the changes you seek?

Because it's past that point, Luciferase. I help people that are willing to help me and themselves. I don't help people that connive, scam whatever they can at the expense of others which is what our society is today. And yes I can put my hand on my heart and say I have never and don't take from the system. I've given more than my fair share! I had a very successful business employing over a 100 people for over 15 years. But the parasites tried to suck me dry. They took above their fair share and still wanted more. No more!

The system is screwed and you all know it. It's only a matter of time before the parasites become violent to maintain their addiction, in fact it's already started. If you can't see that, then I pity you and I wish you good luck. If you ever need a feed I will be more than happy to oblige and I do it often but don't try to steal from me! From when I was at school I could see it wasn't right. Humanity was going in the wrong direction perpetuated by greed, self importance and hedonism.

It's not the world I want to live in and it's certainly not the world I will help perpetuate.

Getting involved in politics would place me on the same level as those that I despise and who are only in it for themselves. I cannot and will not try to persuade tyrannical, despotic, blind fools!

Some of us are above that, and we live very comfortable lives. Why should we give to a system that offers nothing of value in return and is on a road to ruin?

The things you value that you wrote in your post would have been available and were always available despite the parasites. They use those things to fool you and steal your energy for themselves. Wake up and smell the roses, they smell so sweet on my side of the fence.

You cannot fix this system, it's geared to sabo you at every turn!

Once you realise that our entire culture plus the way we see the world has been programmed into us via television and Hollywood it's apparent that there are powerful vested interests at work.

This imaginary world with its good-guys and bad-guys and what is happening out there is straight out of "1984" and "Brave New World".
The only way to control a vast "free" society is via some sort of a Police State or to seriously limit individual freedoms.

The sad part is that people don't want their view of the world challenged. They want to be the good guys, fighting a noble fight to shape the world into some sort of utopia where everybody thinks and looks as they do and will resist anything that disputes that view.
