<I'm a goddeth too, ETHPQR>

That is a bit of a low shot on the big occasion of a woman who has worked hard to overcome a disability.

Unlike Ms Greer, Ita did say that Julia looked well dressed. So I guess that the spite is directed at Ita for blowing the gaff on Gillard's politically directed misogyny allegations. Ita Buttrose did say that she has worked with Tony Abbott and he is not a misogynist.

onthebeach,

Gawd!.....it was me having a little fun with SPQR's penchant for Ita's lisp.

You know what I mean...a little bit of ribbing in good fun?

Ita is just all right with me (to paraphrase the Doobies:)

Keep trying to stir up us women - it's pointless (but entertaining!)

"You know what I mean...a little bit of ribbing in good fun?"

As in Julia Gillard's thunderous caboose that you have laughed at before?

Ok, apologies. I can see you are consistent with your wicked sense of humour.

onthebeach,

Please link to any occasion where I have "laughed" at Julia's "thunderous caboose" (your words).

Have a good scratch around....

I take it you threw that one in on the off chance that it was true.

So what is it with you Mr Beach? SPQR reveals his secret admiration for Ita's lisp - and I chuck in a witty rejoinder (You know "wit" - as in "wit":)...He goes "LOL"...and you try and make a federal case out of it.

Nice try.

Next.....

Well net is back up, even if the power isn't.

Well Poirot, if you haven't laughed at it, it proves your sense of humour is lacking.

Our Julia disproves the old saying that "if it waddles like a duck, it's a duck". Come to think of it----, & it certainly is funny.

Hasbeen,

I just love it when certain of the blokes around here are determined to "have a go".

onthbeach "has-a-go" at me because he thinks my sense of humour is a little "off".

And now you're "having-a-go" because apparently my sense of humour is lacking.

I think it's fair, in that case, for me to assume that my sense of humour is - just right.
