Belly, I would definately rather have Auntie more left than right, but the place is full of Fabians not Labor supporters per se.
Have a look and a laugh as former ABC apprentice Richard Charlton has a go at Bob, it is Bob at his best. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRz06GrF-1I Posted by sonofgloin, Saturday, 29 September 2012 5:16:01 PM

SOG/OUG I truly like the ABC but gee, it is haunted by green like commentators.
Again and again, every side says it is biased, and it is, and changes with its people behind the mike. Some clearly miss informed comment, in the form of questions, had me ready to target them. But after this story, one just like the ones they expose, got it up. I will be interested in the next show. Posted by Belly, Saturday, 29 September 2012 5:32:34 PM

LOL If only Australia still had politicians like Bob Hawke. Belly, Why do we still need a publicly funded broadcaster? Wouldn't it be better if, instead of entrenching the power of the existing commercial broadcasters by giving them all the new digital channels, we exposed them to more competition? Let's open up the airwaves to a whole variety of voices. In any case I expect that quite soon we'll all be be watching a plethora of media outlets on our mobile devices. The ABC, SBS, Channels 7, 9 & 10 will become increasingly insignificant. Posted by stevenlmeyer, Saturday, 29 September 2012 6:15:34 PM

Steven,
I think you have gone mad. I just looked at the TV guide and there are 20 channels to choose from and aside from the ABC news, there is nothing worth watching. I don't mind media watch as it pokes a bit at the media who stuff up all the time and need keeping in line a bit. If the ABC cops a bit occasionally I don't mond either. But please, we get enough rubbish now from the commercial channels. Posted by Banjo, Saturday, 29 September 2012 7:06:31 PM

It ignores the ABC charter.
A charter that says comment is not allowed but almost every presenter puts a private slant in to every question.
People who live in glass houses should not throw stones.
