Hasbeen bad news I am afraid, you can not count.
Did not find it funny but laughed, at you.
Ah but there is more!
Rudd is nearly back, could be as early as this month.
Quantas boss? well he cannot count either!
In an effort to break the unions back he broke the firms back.
He is nearly gone to, but his firm? will arise from the ashes.
Not as the Quantas we know, but one that can compete on the big market.

What a disappointment.

I saw the heading and thought, that's a good idea, let's lighten up a little and pass around a few Friday jokes.

Anyway, I'm going to ignore everyone else's off-topic contributions, and post today's offering from Popbitch's Old Jokes Home:

"Me and the missus went to a restaurant last
night. Some of the other diners called me
'paedo' and 'cradle snatcher'. All because
I'm 52 and she's 21...

Totally ruined our 10th anniversary."

Pericles - Come on I thought my cycle of political power should have gone at least a small way to amusing you.

Baz

You have it exactly right. It means borrowing more money, increasing the money supply, printing causing inflation, kicking the can down the road, creating bonds to be bought by the banks, bailing out banks too big to fail......You name it, all of these.

Dear Bazz,

Cut-backs are fine when they're part of long-term
planning policies and are introduced gradually so that
they don't impact severely on people's lives. However,
cutting back on basics like - infrastructure,
health, education, jobs, et cetera - in a cut-throat
manner which causes severe social damage is not the way
for politicians to win elections - unless they want
to commit political suicide as is currently happening
in NSW, Queensland, and Victoria. And yes - it is tough,
but not for the rich. They continue to have their loop-holes.
