I admit that at first I was confused about…

My analysis is: The statement as presented demonstrates a post hoc, ergo propter hoc argumentative fallacy in reasoning.

Was that it? Did I get it right? Is there a prize?

Arjay, has always,thought those of us who disagree with him are Morons.
Yet maybe that is the nature of humanity.
No not leg pulling, we seem hard wired to disagree.
To put value on our own opinions and less on those of others.
I think, just maybe, those of us who AT LEAST consider the others views before rejecting them.
May hold better supported belief.
Just look, truly look, at the Climate change debate.
Each side often slanders the other [me too!]
Yet no more important debate could be found.
Either we are being conned.
Or we face deaths, destruction, and massive population shifts.
