Good luck SM, you will most likely get the usual brain washed labor puppet replies, as these people can see no fault in this terrible government.
I don't hold the government accountable, as much as I do the three independents. After all, the government is simply out of it's depth. But these ind are a disgrace to their respective electorates, continuing to support this government in the manner they do. They have also tarnished the reputation of all forth coming and sitting independents for many years to come. Just remember, someone on 200 grand plus a year, cares little about the effects of the world largest carbon tax, as to them, it's one less coffee a week, while to most, it's potentially unaffordable as almost everything will go up. Ah say whoa thur! OUG, ah say whoa there whoa!
I find your posts a constant source of entertainment, information and a great deal of work. Have you any idea how long it takes to follow all your links? You need to start by first providing a synopsis of your point for comprehension and context, we can then follow your links for subsequent validation. Is that OK with you? I’d hate to miss out on some of your gems but your posts are approaching post graduate assignments. Keep up the good work and may the force be with you. SM and rehctub, if you haven’t already read it, James Delingpole has a new book, “Watermelons: Green Movements True Colors”, it answers all your questions. (It’s also on special from Amazon for Kindle for $9.95) I don’t particularly enjoy his writing style, a bit too sarcastic for my liking, or should I say a bit too much like my own style? That said it is a great piece of investigative journalism the like of which our own Scab MSM don’t have the bottle for. It is in many ways a depressing read for both the left and right of politics. The left because they are “sprung” and the newly sensitized electorates will from now on see right through the spin, voter sentiments will never be the same again. The right will be depressed because they never imagined just how much progress socialism has made through stealth. The short answer to your questions is “socialization”. Don’t be too upset, just sit back and watch as the left eats its own. Popcorn anyone? Posted by spindoc, Friday, 27 April 2012 1:13:08 PM

Spindoc,
I don't share your optimism that many voters read. Posted by Shadow Minister, Friday, 27 April 2012 1:20:42 PM

FWA is an independent of govt; body. By making FWA accountable to govt; would not be in the interests of independent.
Judges are sometimes seen as being to lenient, in their judgments, which is not a good look in the eyes of the public. Without an explanation being given for their decisions, there is nowhere for people to comprehend decisions. The article would have been better served by not implying something dodgy about it, which lessons the impact. Posted by 579, Friday, 27 April 2012 1:43:21 PM

In the light of Labor's refusal to act to get competent action from FWA, and the sudden action by Shorten to suppress the alternate Tembe report, my assumption is that FWA is the preserve of Labor and the Unions, and that they need to be protected from scrutiny. I am interested to see what other explanations can be found.
