Belly,
The last year or so has been all about Labor, there has been no focus on the coalition. Tony doesn't have to do anything but watch Labor tear itself apart. I was angry when Gillard managed to put together a minority government with the help of the sell outs Windsor and Oakeshott. However, as Juliar proceeds to trash the Labor brand, I can see that voters may vote labor out of power for 3 or 4 terms, with Abbott as PM for 10+ years. All I can say is that I feel pity for all the Labor tragics that I guess now feel betrayed. Posted by Shadow Minister, Saturday, 28 April 2012 7:25:40 AM

Sorry Belly but IMHO your response is pathetic. It does however serve to highlight precisely the point we have previously discussed, which is that those founded on ideology respond with emotion.
You kicked off half cocked with an emotive response to what you thought was a challenge to your values. Then you realised that it was a challenge to you to SUPPORT your values. Then you had to backtrack with “Sorry got to first paragraph of your post, hot and bothered posted”. Your posts again fail to respond to the issues presented, you drift off into a hazy bubble of past ideological glory and fail to see that the failure of your beloved party is due to your own apathy and the apathy of other lifetime supporters. The ALP and the Trade Union image has been utterly trashed because not one of you reacted to prevent it when it was being high jacked. Now you are left with a movement that you do not recognize, it does not recognize you, you no longer have any influence but you believe it when it tells you that you matter, you don’t. You were all very happy to see the ACTU and its affiliates drive the ALP into power, now you are all getting the Bill. Pay up and stop bleating because the rest of Australia, our children and our grandchildren will be paying for a very long time, thanks very much. Posted by spindoc, Saturday, 28 April 2012 8:36:33 AM

Shadow Minister your last post was quite good I would be a lie teller if I did not agree with the betrayal part.
Both union HSU, and party ALP. Both have ground to make up,HSU should Be disbanded forever, ALP, one day AG after her, we will rebuild ON the broken promises of Liberals. after the defeat. Spin doc always! unimpressed with you and your views. You are the reason,a hundred thousand like you, I fly the ALP fag the southern cross boxing kangaroo. And always will. Sorry but I never will place any value on you or your thoughts. ALP Federal parliamentarians. KNOW my words are those of many, no more slugs from failing unions, no more dumping leaders then saying it was the polls. No more ignoring if it was a raffle and you Friend bought every ticket she could never win. No more feeding such as spin doc on the entrails of my party. Belly, your appeal for sympathy from SM is nauseating. I can’t speak for SM’s intentions but he does seem to offer you some balance. Fawning over such a crumb of sympathy is confirmation of your pain and desperation. You’ll get much more recognition if you show even the slightest hint of reality.
The ACTU and ALP are desperate to chop off the infected arm of the HSU, hence Bill Shortens position. He only wants to get the focus away from the rest of the cancerous Trade Union movement. Does BS really believe that the ONLY corrupt part of the entire union movement is the HSU? More importantly does he really think that the electorates think the HSU is a one off? Do you really believe that the ALP will << rebuild on the broken promises of Liberals. after the defeat >>? Belly, the next ALP PM isn’t born yet. Do you think that I’m just one of << a hundred thousand like>> me? Is that how you regard the 72% of Australians that will not vote for the ALP on current polling? << No more feeding such as spin doc on the entrails of my party >> Belly you have absolutely no choice. All that remains of your beloved party now is entrails. You make it sound like it someone else’s fault, WRONG, it was yours and people like you who allowed through inaction, the total acquisition of the long gone ALP by another entity. An entity you do not recognize, it does not recognize you, an entity that has trodden upon the ALP values, traditions, people and hero’s of the movement you cherish so dearly. I find it absolutely incredible, that would have the audacity to post on OLO that you see non-ALP supporter as the problem. When you and your jelly back friends get down to Sussex Street and sort out the real culprits rather than poke us in the eye you might get some respect. Shame on you Belly, this is the only place left where you can salvage some respect, don’t burn your last bridges Posted by spindoc, Saturday, 28 April 2012 1:56:46 PM

Good trade unionists, good ALP members and supporters are different than your team.
66 years, feeling about 30 recent health issues still around but controlled.
Sorry got to first paragraph of your post, hot and bothered posted.
But maintaining good habits ,then went back and reviewed it,bit like stepping out side and running under the recycled water hose for a shower.
A lifetime of looking at the power and privilege policy's of your tribe.
It drives me, every single day, on the other benches, but no less danger to middle Australia, the equally lost left, trys every trick in the book.
To take Labor back to a past that never can deliver victory.
Writing slow now,keeping up?
2007 Kevin 07 I remember that day,its promises its brilliant night.
See I have good vision, I see that wasted effort, see my party in the hands of a few idiots,I want a return to 2007.
Not LATHAM night!
My total loyalty to my party comes at a price.
I reserve the right to question idiots, to remind my party it got it wrong Rudd should be there still.
I say again the egos holding Gillard up are traitors.
I however understand your confusion.
I know Liberals never question their party, never question its policy's.
Just blindly line up to wait in line to be milked.
That Barry divides us, I want better every day from my party the only party, EVER to deliver real change in this country.
Get into me bloke, but leave the sleazy middle class put downs.
