OUG yes I tried, last night I was awarded life membership of my union.
I had served it from my 16th year as delegate or official.
But during the ceremony it was stated that I drove two seminars on the subject of work place related deaths, as delegate.
Coal tar, a known Cancer causer was once an every day used product for RTA workers and their contractors.
I put together, twice,a statewide list of early deaths due to cancers.
It was state wide and long.
My branch ran the seminars, sponsored by the industry's big players.
Only the RTA did not ever cooperate, it payed lip service, but no more.
I fail you in not explaining my last post.
Another union has mirrored my early campaign way back in the 1980,s.
Then, documentary evidence exists still, a doctor diagnosed radioactive poisoning for two.
And chemical poisoning for others.
In state Parliament, I quoted the documents, RTA and government pilloried that doctor.
Even bringing up his speeding while driving record? to discredit him!
IN STATE PARLIAMENT!
Well this current re born issue,has seen the same.
Victims said to be contaminated by? the same chemicals, 5 different ones.
And THEIR DOCTOR is being subjected to the same rubbishing.
No matter what is true OUG we will not hear it ever.
I will continue the fight, harder it gets harder we must fight.

Behind the scenes I am still trying to get results for the victims.
To be honest some, who could are not helping.

My conspiracy? dead in the water, plenty will complain, blame even me and my union, but such is life, far easy to complain than fight for justice.
In the end we contribute to the conspiracy,and our own defeat.

watched as the fast failing qld national party
took over the alp/union [lol]..party..watched the greens grow under the public service ..who long ago subverted alp/lib etc

OUG while I never will stop calling for accountability and constant improvement from both my groups,you ask too much.
I can not believe you think the hay stack country party took over unions and the ALP.
Perfection is not achievable, but should be the target,of every party.
The acceptance of Rudd's Knifing, Gillards failures, Thomson's lies,in the name of solidarity, is disgusting.
For Xenophon to say we do not need tough restrictive laws to control such,sickens me.
But remember/understand the roots of this dysfunctional Parliament, on both sides, is its hung nature.
Tony Abbott, is ignoring all things in his hunger for power.
Gillard fits that description too.
We can do better and will.
Gillard must have a firm hand hold on some ones man hood,she would be gone long ago if not.

And on behalf of ex workers from that day in 1980, and the second event,some victims of both.

Believe it or not another phone call about this in the middle of my last post.
excuse me for showing my pain, it seems the exposure some had on this site may have left them sick very sick.
Reports continue to come in, some clearly false.
If however any one is sick to radio active poisoning? my dead workmates have been murdered!
I however doubt that.
Chemicals however are a different thing.
If my words are not true I am worthless.
I see a union in my view trying to recruit by blowing the issue up, by terrifying its members and every site worker.
But BLAME THE RTA, they still today have NEVER told one of us what we worked in or what those blood tests said!

I think the fish kill 20 years ago, took most of this spill away.
That no radioactivity exists, if it ever did.
But too that the substance that made an increasing number sick was ,after water penetration for years, at a layer found by the machinery and existed at least until uncovered.
