I would like to talk to a couple of *sand baggers* a term used in radio that is used to describe those hiding, said to be behind a wall, of sand bags.
Seeing,hearing all that goes on but taking part only to be critical.
Such is life, it always has been so, a few carry the bag.
Others complain.
Every single word to the very best of my memory is true.
It shames every boss, police officer, other than the victims, every one who never acted on behalf of us all.
I turn 67 this spring, have put every thing in to this, but as usual my Passion drives me totally.

3 people are telling me they saw this, one from less than 20 klm away even has the numbers of 4 drums that got hidden and rushed away at that rest area.
I ask others who know nothing of this to consider just what I have said, you MUST NEVER trust governments to tell the truth in such matters lies cost less than clean ups.

Heard others on the radio today on this subject.
Read the headlines telling me the whole thing is a fraud.
That hurt.
I recruited almost every worker on this site to my union on the first project they did in this area.
Some including foremen, had been my mates and members on other sites.
On the day this event took place the NSW then DMR had no CFMEU members who worked even near this site.
As is usual one official from that union, once my opposite, works in that area.
As usual, at the first sniff of a safety issue, an invasion of other officials of that union flys to the smell.
My union is working QUIETLY to get to the bottom of it, I am helping.
I like the local bloke from that union, if his membership on this site out numbers ours I will be surprised.
But this issue, generations of dead workers, yes dead early.
Are in danger of being covered by press unconvinced that rat bag actions on this site are other than what they are, product of the southern end of a north bound BULL.
However remember my tales of skin problems? 3 have the same problem.
Acid Sulfate soils, remember? no road construction worker ever got sich any place before as a result of it.
And they did not here, big headlines about to come PROVING A COVER UP AND EXTREME DANGER because of exposure.
Unions there is a difference, and in fact sooner moderate unionism makes that clear the better, members get better results if in a better union.

Last night I spent in the office of my union.
Talking to Delegates, the top ones selected by their mates to over see the running of the union.
Scrutinize every dollar spent every action taken, no HSU there.
A call came, the *radio active site* has been closed down!
All types of claims are being made, silly, wild, concerning claims.
Parr for the course,one group, thugs and mugs, feeds on it.
And contaminates the whole union movement.
A victim? of these extreme claims?
Me! My mates, dead and alive! those sick with undiagnosed illness, that includes me, so very many wrong and false diagnosis's, all I can say?
I have a blood illness of unknown origin.
Those two single drums,of radio active what ever LEFT THE SCENE!
One was steel and unbroken.
As seen that night ON NATIONAL TV the other was plastic screw top, it had been both broken and the TOP UNSCREWED!
It too LEFT THE SITE, was not buried.
Some contamination may have taken place, but why did the over 20 of us more closely involved not get sick too.
A lesson has been learned here, my thoughts truth would be the first victim, it has been from that day December 4 1980, it has again been put in that hole and covered up.
Remember, nothing could have removed almost all that ten tonne of white powder except the rain over 32 years that took it via water courses in to lake Cathy.
And the ground those workers disturbed.
