Meanwhile, back on Earth, we have real problems - you say, if there is a god, she or he (according to some biblical scholars) gives us choice, freed will, but to an atheist, this does seem to be something of a get-out-of-jail-free card for god. Oh well, I guess she/he makes the rules :)
