Within the logic of Christian belief, OUG, your god does seem to have gender: after all, he is supposed to have had sex with Mary through the Holy Spirit, or the Holy Penis I guess, and Jesus is supposed to be the son of god, after all. Could Jesus have been born of two mothers ? He might have had a longer and happier life, who knows ? But that's probably taking the sexlessness of god a bit too far :)

Still, these are not my problems. There are enough around already to preoccupy us. Mind you, although I give out stuff for the Greens at elections, I have enough misgivings and disputes with them - if I made them known - to be cast out into some nether-world of their own. But when it's all boiled down, one must be true to oneself and one's beliefs, no matter how solitary such a life may be. It's hard to live a lie, and in the long run, what's the point of doing that ?

So every base is covered ? Every doubt removed ? I'm sorry but I feel uneasy about playing poker with a pack in which every card is a get-religion-out-of-jail-free card.
