"The leader of the free world" has a nice ring to it - and Obama does seem a thousand times more preferable to the rabble fronting the Bush Administration - but let's not ignore every government's penchant for spin. They all indulge in their own brand of hyperbole when it suits their agenda by appealing to the virtues of patriotism and altruism held dear by the common man.
It's a first class act - and Obama, at least, has the ability to articulate with finesse, compared to the wide-eyed smarm regularly dished out by his predecessor.
