God help us ? Indeed... He will I'm sure.
See what is happening in America now... a great wind of renewal and awakening is sweeping across the land. http://www.ydr.com/politics/ci_15807909 8-28 is coming. Posted by ALGOREisRICH, Wednesday, 18 August 2010 7:08:33 PM

AGIR, I don't care what is happening in America.
Do you live in America per chance? I too despair of the Abbott being in charge of anything at all, let alone as our Prime Minister. We already had enough problems with that other religious zealot, Howard. God help us indeed! Posted by suzeonline, Wednesday, 18 August 2010 9:30:17 PM

No we don't Suzeonline, but if you connect all the dots the U N does and their coveat's affect every area of our life today as they tell us how to think with their political correct speech.

Humanity ,soon please, must ask its self do we need Gods.
Boazy and Richie ten show me some truly weird people now think God is a conservative, an extreme one. God for some is made of putty can be bent and twisted to their wishes. Not following a God but leading him. The Abbott we see now is not real he will not be that person after the election. Win or not he will be himself, a frightening thing. God, any of them, should not be used in politics or have any power in politics. American religious right defames your God. Gillard on Saturday vs God? No her opponent is fear and lies. Why it is that we are unable to see the way our societies have swung dangerously to the right causing wide spread fundamentalism over the whole worlds religious orders. Each are blaming the other and in the end they are all at fault. The whole Afganistan/Iraq mess that the Americans led us all into should have been enough for us to wake up, but no we are getting worse like cats on a hot tin roof we are jumping at our own shadow when it comes to anything that is a little different to us.
Australian polotics has little to offer us in the way of real leadership. We are desperate for someone to step up to the plate and lead us out of the conservative storm cloud and into the sun shine. Posted by nairbe, Thursday, 19 August 2010 8:03:14 AM

win the forthcoming election.
John Howard not being acceptable to the International community already
(even at the level of the I.C.C.) is a case in point.
Reasons cited by I.C.C.members regarding J.H. were largely based upon Howard's past support of such things as Springbok tours etc.
Basically they saw his past unsuitable for the position.
But as Pm, his plain incorrect ideology led him to support the lie perpetrated by President Bush
about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, he also introduced new lows like drawing the race card in elections
e.g. children overboard, and now they use it as their central policy plank, e.g. We'll stop the boats.
The Labor party has to counteract this by saying "us too, we'll do that"
but internationally this helps to reinforce belief that Australia is a hillbilly nation.
International conventions were ignored by the Howard Gov't relating to refugee's, workplace relations etc, among others.
100,s of millions were spent on replacing history books in schools with ideologically suitable one's.
Multi millions spent by Gov't on it's own propaganda, all these things were re-inforced by the Howard years.
Add the "Son of Howard" (ideological zealot) factor and throw in a bit of religious zealot and there we have it," the Abbott Gov't".
But what will they sell to consign debt this time, there's nothing left because they sold the farm to
international business interests last time they were in power.
And their economic plan begins with giving back $10.5 billion to the big 3 multinational mining companies.
Ah, those were the days.
