All I see in this thread is another attempted assault on Australian values and culture by trying to import and impose Seppo fanaticism into our lives. Al, I had known of Beck but your link sent me on an hour of comprehensive text and youtube investigation, and an hour is all it takes.

The guy is a charlatan, and like all accomplished charlatans his patter has some fact behind it that may in the public’s interest to broadcast, because it is not being addressed by the lefty vested media. But he talks some garbage all the same, all meant to feed his ego with kudos.

I place Beck along side the eco nazis when it comes to credibility because they are both being directed. Further apart from the "issue" these people have no other perspective on life, great attribute for a cancer researcher but a poor one for a social engineer, they tend to loose sight of realities. The outcome is less important than the participation for these people so their conviction is flawed, for them it is self promoting not “issue” solving.
