This debate has deteriated into yet another media hype.
Who cares if a child is in a detention centre,safe in the middle of Australia.
It must be infinitely better than seeing your mother raped and your father tortured.
May be,OH yes, just maybe these people are not genuine refugees who are escaping hell,but infact the children of the mass murderers who have the funds to escape from the war torn areas of the world for the land of opportunity.
I would love the Australian media to look after the welfare of Australian born indigenous children and the abuse that the Australian Police and prison Staff infict on these Australians.
